Property Entrepreneur & Founder of Nia Azuri Nasiphi Mkhiva has expanded her property and hospitality profile with Nia On 131, a luxury Guesthouse /Bed & Breakfast & Intimate Events Space in Rondebosch, Cape Town.

The 35-year-old single mom of 2 boys who was raised by her great grandmother in Mdantsane, a township in the Eastern Cape and has a background in law launched her first business in 2012. She then went on to launch her property development business in 2013 which then went on to become her main business. Her property portfolio includes residential, commercial, mixed use buildings, and now a guesthouse.

In August 2017 she opened the doors to Nia Azuri, which she envisioned to not just be another beauty spa, but a “purpose & beauty escape” at the V&A Waterfront. Nia Azuri has since then moved to Rondebosch, offering an experience of tranquillity, sheer elegance, beauty and an escape in the heart of Cape Town. Nasiphi ventured into this business and now Nia On 131 to develop her skill and see what else she can do with the properties she was buying and renovating.

“These two businesses will always be a work in progress. I’m just like that. There is always something to fix to make my businesses better and improve the customer’s experience.”

Nia On 131 has opened its doors and will offer affordable luxury and a “home away from home” for both local & international travellers who appreciate culture, authenticity and modern style, seeking luxury, comfort and privacy.
